Zflex: our own LED fixture line
Zflex is Zuzack's own line of outdoor LED fixtures, built with premium, weather-resistant materials for long-lasting performance and backed by a 10-year warranty. Building our own line means we know every part in your system and can replace it quickly.
“We opted to go with them because we really liked how solid the lights felt, their knowledge of the products, the follow up service they provide and warranty on the lights themself.”

If you'd rather use a fixture brand you already know and trust, we install other brands too. Those carry warranties of up to 20 years, depending on the fixture.
Ask us on your call to see and hold the fixtures before you decide.
The installer other contractors learned from
Michael has trained outdoor lighting contractors in seven states, from Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, West Palm Beach, Georgia and North and South Carolina. Other lighting companies have brought him in to teach their crews.
That's the same experience that goes into your yard: where to place fixtures, how to hide the source, and how to aim each light so the house, trees and paths look their best after dark.
How we design a lighting plan
Good outdoor lighting is mostly about restraint: light the few things that matter, hide the source, and keep the glow warm. We plan around:
- The view from the street. Up-light the facade, columns and the best trees.
- How you move at night. Paths, steps, driveway and dock get even, glare-free light.
- Where you sit. Lanai, pool and patio lighting you can dim or change color.
- Your neighbors and the sky. Fixtures aimed down or shielded so light lands where it's needed.
DarkSky International (opens in a new tab) sums it up in five principles: light should be useful, targeted, no brighter than needed, controlled by timers, and warm in color.

Outdoor lighting questions
How much does outdoor lighting cost?
Most Zuzack lighting systems start around $4,000. That typically covers landscape up-lighting, some path lights, and the transformer and wire. We build packages to fit every customer's budget, and every home is quoted individually. See the lighting cost guide for what moves the price.
What warranty comes with the fixtures?
We install with a 10-year warranty on our own Zflex fixtures, and up to 20 years on other brands, depending on the fixture.
Can I use a fixture brand I already know?
Yes. Most customers choose our own Zflex fixtures, but if you'd rather use a fixture brand you already know and trust, we install other brands too.
What is low-voltage landscape lighting?
Low-voltage landscape lighting runs outdoor fixtures from a transformer that steps household power down to a lower voltage. Our systems are stand-alone, so they don't require changes to your home's electrical wiring.
Warm white or color?
Most homes look best with warm white on the house and trees. DarkSky International (opens in a new tab) recommends warmer-colored outdoor light, aimed only where it's needed and no brighter than necessary. Color is a great fit for pool cages, lanais and holidays, where you want to change the mood.
How long do LED landscape lights last?
LEDs last far longer than old halogen and incandescent bulbs. The U.S. Department of Energy (opens in a new tab) says LEDs last up to 25 times longer than incandescent lighting and use at least 75% less energy.
Do you service lights another company installed?
Ask us on your call. Tell us what you have and what's not working, and we'll tell you honestly whether repair or replacement makes more sense.
Is there a maintenance plan?
Ask on your call about adjustments and follow-up visits after your install.
